Good Quality & Concept, Bad Reliability March 1, 2010 Matthew Wilson (Washington, DC) GE Outdoor Motion Adapter
The idea is sound for a product like this, but GE's execution was poor in producing a light with bad technical glitches. It's unpredictable whether the light will turn off, regardless of no-motion, and it most often never turns itself off.

Needs 9V battery & works only 25% of time December 9, 2009 H. Chau (Irvine, CA) I ordered 2 of this model. Please try the Zenith model, which can be found at Lowes or Home Depot and requires NO battery. This one requires a 9V battery. Most of the time (>75%), you have to painfully remove and reinstall the 9V battery in order to reset it to a working state again.
AGAIN, try the ZENITH model that requires NO battery and works great!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!!!
Another DOA December 4, 2009 TechnoPope (Columbus, Ohio) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
In spite of numerous attempts at programming, this sensor would not work. My batteries were new and tested fine. I used Amazon's excellent return process.
